Karl is a CIMA-qualified finance director with an Economics degree from Loughborough University. He has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries but an in-depth knowledge of Healthcare and Marketing Services.

His time supporting marketing services companies enables him to provide services to other professional and business services organisations as they have similar business models.

Karl has the added advantage of having worked for a boutique investment bank, so he has a strong appreciation for the additional demands placed on companies by PE investors and is well-versed in raising funds as well as the sales of a business process.

Over the last few years, he has:

  • Raised funds for a £7m healthcare company via an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to enable the company to continue its buy and build strategy.
  • Improved the commercial culture in a marketing services company to maximise opportunities to secure further income and improve profit margins.
  • Supported the growth of a technical production services company, helped to navigate through the pandemic, and supported the diversification into new sectors and its subsequent growth post-pandemic.
  • Completed the sales of a French diagnostics business through an auction process with over 20 potential buyers in Europe, USA and Australia.
